What if I forgot my password?
Click Login -> Forgot Password. Then enter your email address and click Submit. If that doesn't work or something goes wrong, contact your agent. He/she has the ability to change your password and tell you what it is.
What if I never received my verification email?
First check your spam folder. If the email isn't there, go into your email settings and add the domain truckercert.com as a trusted sender. Then ask your agent to resend the verification email. See the topic How to resend verification email below.
When using TruckerCert on a phone, where is the menu?
On a mobile device such as a phone, you must tap the three bars at the top left of the screen to display the menu.
How to get set up on TruckerCert?
The first thing you need to know is that in order to use TruckerCert an Insurance agent must put in his Trucker's policy information and link that to the trucker’s account before any certs can ever be sent out.

Trucker Set Up

Go to TruckerCert.com and click the Create Account tab in the top left corner. Once you've entered the Create Account screen you will see a box labeled I am a trucker. Once you've clicked on that you can proceed to enter your information in the required fields and submit. A verification email will be automatically sent to the email address you just entered. You must go to your inbox and verify your email in order to proceed. Once verified you will be taken back to TruckerCert.com and see the message Your account has been verified. Your insurance agent will need to link you by connecting your email address to his/her account. Please contact your agent and give him/her the email address you used to create this account.

Agency Set Up

Setting up an agency only needs to happen once. If you are an agent and your agency already has a TruckerCert Account, do not create a duplicate agency. You will be able to link to that agency. Please see Agent Set Up for detailed instructions. If you are setting up your agency for the first time, this section is for you. In the home screen find the Create Account tab and click on it. You will see a box labeled I am an agent. You will be taken to a new screen ready to take a new Agency's information.
How to resend verification email?
If you are an agent and your client is unable to find the verification email, it can be resent by clicking Truckers and then selecting the insured you want to verify. Click on the client's name at the top of the screen, then click Resend Verification Email.
How to set up SMTP email?
You can link your TruckerCert account to your email so that certificates of insurance are sent from your email account rather than from truckercert.com. To do this, click Profile -> Manage SMTP -> select your email type from the pulldown. Enter your email address and EMAIL ACCOUNT password (not your TruckerCert email/password). Click SAVE -> TEST. You will be notified whether the test was successful. If that fails, type your password into windows notepad, then COPY/PASTE into the password box. Misspelling the password is the most common error. If this continues to fail, contact your email account administrator. TruckerCert is unable to assist with lost email account passwords.
What if my cert comes out without dates or policy numbers?
Open up your insured's policy and in the Insurer sections, just below the effective dates, click Add Section. Click the pulldown. Select whichever coverage will be listed on the cert, repeating this process until all needed coverages have been applied to the Cert.
How much does TruckerCert cost?
TruckerCert bills the agency, not agents or insureds. New agencies are given a free 30 day trial with limited functionality. Full functionality included in our Standard Package costs $1 per cert created. You are only charged once for each cert. If you make a mistake while creating a cert, simply delete the cert before downloading or emailing it, and you won't be charged.

Why can't I modify or delete a cert?
After a cert has been downloaded or sent, it is locked and cannot be edited or deleted—except to change the email recipients.
What is included in the 30-day free trial?
Agents have access to all features in order to familiarize themselves with the system. They will be limited to 3 insureds each during the free trial. Once they understand the system well enough, the agency can elect to subscribe to full functionality at $1 per cert. Payment is due every 30 days, payable by credit card inside TruckerCert.com.
Can TruckerCert integrate to my AMS?
In most cases, yes. We have the ability to copy your entire book of business into our system for a pain-free, easy set up. Once integrated we can also have every cert sent along with any other related activity logged into your AMS automatically. We work case by case to set this up—not all AMS systems allow this type of integration. Contact us and we will put you in touch with our integration team.
Can TruckerCert build a Certificates Portal into my website for my clients to access?
Yes. In fact we even have the ability to create a custom interface of TruckerCert into your website so your clients see your name and logo—not TruckerCert's—as their COIs are instantaneously serviced. And you get your own custom home page. This is very effective in bringing you referred business as it appears like you are the agency offering this great service. This is our Private Label service. This additional service costs an extra $250 per month for the agency.
What does TruckerCert do with all of my clients' info?
We protect it! Your book of business will be kept in our secure and encrypted database and NEVER sold, exchanged or used for any purpose other than Certificates of Insurance for your agency.
How secure is TruckerCert?
TruckerCert uses industry-leading security measures including SSL, TLS 1.2, and 128-bit AES encryption to keep your private data secure and protected. Our database is locked down inside a world-class datacenter with 24/7 security, diesel generator power backups, and expert network engineers. TruckerCert makes the securing of your confidential data a top priority by encrypting passwords and implementing security best practices. We will never sell or share your data with anyone. Nobody outside your agency can get to your data, ever!
If I choose to cancel my subscription, what will happen to all of my data?
You can temporarily pause your account, or permanently cancel. If you temporarily pause, you will no longer be able to send out any more certs and your current existing balance will be due. If you would like to permanently cancel your account, all of your clients and agents will be deleted from our database. If you choose to come back after a cancellation, your book of business will need to be re-entered. Before deleting your data, we can provide you CSV files of all your data for an additional fee.

IMPORTANT: Except for the optional Private Label service, TruckerCert doesn't charge monthly fees and we don't require contracts. To stop being charged you need only stop using the system.
